Friends!! I have been home serving as a service missionary for 3 months now. I want to share with you some of the good I’ve experienced these last few months.  1. Being home has taught me many things. I have been able to focus more on my personal conversion  and discover what becoming a lifelong disciple of Jesus Christ looks like for me. I definitely miss teaching others and spreading the Gospel but part of me is so grateful God brought me home early. I have grown to LOVE running. I go to this trail out by my house and last week I came across this guy named David on my 4th mile. He ends up telling me his whole life story, which just reminded me of the Michiganders haha but I asked him about his relationship with Jesus and we had a good conversation about church in general! It’s almost easier for me to talk to strangers without a companion haha but I invited him to church and got to see him through the Lords eyes for a short amount of time. Now I make it a goal to go talk to ...

My Twin Had A Baby!!!!!!!!

Lacey gave birth on Saturday the 10th!! Her little boy is perfect, and I can't wait to meet him in person when he turns 1 haha! A good amount of people asked me if I felt any of her contractions hahahaha the answer is yes, yes I did..... Jk. Welllllll I did have a stomach ache all day Saturday..... Sister Bean and I got to go to GRAND RAPIDS for the day on Friday and it was a little scary because it was for a doctor's appointment but we are okay and everything's fine. I got to run it back in the hospital gown again and it reminded me of the MTC. We got to drive past the future temple grounds too and that was special!  Little miracle from our G-rap trip was getting to see Terry in Owosso on our way back (,: Terry was my first baptism in Michigan, and getting to see him again was THE highlight of my week. Terry was the first person I met who had a visible light bulb switch on when we talked about Jesus Christ's Gospel, and I will never forget my experiences teaching him. ...

Another Car Miracle?!?

Okay, so no actual miracle happened in the Bad River Bar in St.Charles, BUT I had the BEST cheeseburger I've ever had, so it's a miracle in my book. We talked to Tim, outside the bar, who was smoking a cigar and had a good convo about Jesus Christ's love for us!  I met Jacob this week (: he is 88 years old and told me the same story of when he was a firefighter 5 times, haha! He is so precious. I worked on his hands and painted a clear coat on his nails. I'm discovering how much I love serving in retirement homes! Old people just bring me joy. We met with Terry and Rex this week, and both lessons were insane. Everything Rex says just makes me want to cry haha the spirit is always so strong in his home.  Went running with the elders at 6:30am!!!  Short email today, it was a crazy day. I love you all, I really do. - Sister Clanton

YOU GUYS.  Sister Bean is a legend.  Every thursday, we volunteer at an assisted living home, and we get to paint their nails! I've gotten to know Rosemary, Nancy, Wilma, and Barbra. Let me tell you a little more about Barbra. She's 82, adorable, born in Kansas, and has the most silly husband, Jack. He comes up to the table we're at and asks me if I can do his toes. He then takes his shoes off and shows me. I said, "Jack, we need to cut those! That can not be comfortable." He said, "No, no, I want you to paint them."............. I can't make this stuff up. Sister Bean, being the most Chirstlike person I know, gets on her knees and paints Jack's long toenails. I couldn't believe it. He was so happy. It was such a core memory. I know if Jesus Christ was there, he would have painted his nails as well, I'm just not quite there yet  What a week. - Jerome from the Wendys drive thru was hittin on us, so naturally, we invited him to church.  - W...

"A Stirring In My Soul"

Friends and family, read this MIRACLE. We have this old friend named Rex. A couple weeks ago Sister Bean and I went over to his house and gave him a Book of Mormon and briefly went over the Restoration of Jesus Christs church. He looked at us with wide eyes and said "Jesus Christ came here- to the people in the Americas?!!?" Haha he was so excited. We met with him again and read the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew and compared it to 3 Nephi. Rex lost his mind. His excitement about the Book of Mormon is unmatched! We invited him to start from the beginning in 1 Nephi. Wednesday afternoon we go over and read with him a little more and he stops us and slowly says, "You know... ever since y'all came over and starting seeing me, there has been this... this stirring in my soul and I really enjoy it." I said Rex thats the Spirit!! Sister Bean and I looked at eachother with literal tears in our eyes. He had the most genuine smile on his face. We got to see the Spirit wor...
