"Thank You For Not Forgetting About Me"

What a week in the great MLM.

We had exchanges, and I got to spend the day with Sister Lunt here in Saginaw! We had some knocking experiences that I will never forget. I'm so grateful for her and her example. Also, her biceps are huge! She's like this spiritual, jacked angel. We went to Robbie D's for obvious reasons.... she had to try the sweet burger! We then sent out a mass text to all our grey dots (people we stopped teaching because they weren't progressing / uninterested) and invited them to our ward Christmas party, which was the next day. 4 people showed up! Including Terry. Not the terry I baptized in Owosso. ️A new Terry in Saginaw️. He had been taught by some Elders last summer, but they stopped teaching him because he got really busy with work. He shows up to the Christmas party and comes up to Sister Bean & I and says- "Hi, I'm Terry, I was texted by the missionaries...?" We were so excited. After we introduced ourselves, he looks at us, smiles, and says, "Thank you for not forgetting about me." He's in his 50s, and it just made us want to cry!! The Lord has prepared him, no doubt. The missionaries haven’t reached out to him in over a year! I showed him the Chapel and told him how much I love the church and that I knew it was God's restored church on the earth. He told me he could tell I loved the church from my smile and excitement. Again... just made me want to sob. We will be teaching him later this week. We love Terry.

Sister Bean and I got to wake up at 5:45am to go to Seminary on Friday! We shared with the youth a Love, Share, and Invite video, and it was a cool experience! Probably a one & done though haha a little too early for us, but proud of them for getting there at 6am every morning!

Church was wild because all of the college kids are home for the holidays. So many new faces! The ward is already huge, I'm still meeting new people and I've been here for 2 months! I love seeing families together and happy. I know that families are eternal.

Last monday, we got to go caroling with some families in our ward ( the Diebles and Boss's ). There must've been 100 of us! Twas a party.

Today, we went to Frankenmuth! It's a cute German Christmas town! A famous spot here in Michigan, look it up!

This week we have 4 member dinners and 2 lunches planned with our new friends. Zone conference is on Wednesday and we're singing in church on Sunday the 24th! Let me know if you want the Zoom link!

Merry Christmas!!!!
