Saginawesome!

I'm not sure who came up with the phrase "sagnasty" but it ain't true. Saginaw is an amazing area!

Tuesday (Owosso)
Hard day saying goodbye to everyone. Sister Abegglen and I asked Brother Riley for a blessing before transfers, and he was SO happy. He fell apart in tears. He hasn't been able to attend church for a while because of his health. Brother Riley also hasn't been able to use his preisthood authority in a long time, so he was more than excited when we asked. We gave Grace a tight hug and Terry a nice firm handshake... haha. I gave AJ a good noogie on the head and told him to stay out of trouble. Love that kid. Being able to attend those 3 baptisms in Owosso has strengthened my testimony of not only Baptism but of the Holy Ghost as well. Seeing the change in a 74, 18, and 8 year old has shown me the power of the priesthood. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has the proper authority to baptize. I know that to be true!

Wednesday: Transfers!
I got to see Sister Messick ( MTC comp ) again while everyone was exchanging companions! We went and got BURGERS with a ton of other missonaries, which was super fun! Unpacked my things in Saginaw, and off we went to a dinner appointment with some memebers in our ward. Incredible family. Afterward, we knocked around their neighborhood and met this girl named Carol. Her husband passed away 3 weeks ago. He had dementia and the whole thing was really hard on herl. She's very lonely and really wants to learn more about our religion. I'm excited to teach her the plan of happiness this next week and hopefully uplift her during this hard time.

Thursday:
We ward share with the Zone Leaders (elder companionship), which has been wayyy too much fun. We get to see them every day and do missionary work together! Those guys are amazing at 100% ministering. They talk to every single person they come in contact with. We go get icecream, they talk to everyone in line, making sure they have a church to attend on Sunday. They give the workers at Panda Express ITL cards, haha, and always ask others if they can serve them! I'm blessed to be around such great missionary examples!

Friday:
Another cool thing about the ZLs being in our area is that we get to have member meals with them! It is 10x better giving a spiritual thought with another set of missionaries with you. Tuesdays we play basketball with members and their friends ( mainly youth ) and Fridays we play volleyball! I got to meet some of the youth in the ward, which was really fun! They remind me of how my Lacamas Creek ward friends and I were years ago! :,)

Saturday:
SVSU CAMPUS BABY! I love proselyting on a college campus! We talked to an entire baseball team in the parking lot and gave out lots of ITL cards, and got some numbers! Kids our age do not intimidate me one bit! It's easy getting to know them and just talking about religion in general. Walking around with the elders also makes things a lot less scary!

Sunday:
Stake conference! I got to see my sister Kayla and her entire family!! We are in the same stake! We got to hear from my mission president and his wife. Talks about gathering Isreal always make me feel so happy to be a missionary, although you dont need a tag to be a missionary. Share your testimony with your friends, coworkers, or family members!

This week was kind of crazy getting a new comp, new area, new ward, and moving apartments. So far, I really like it here! I love you all very much, have the best week!!
