My testimony of Jesus Christ has impacted me more than anything and I love Him. I've devoted so much time striving to follow the prophets counsel to learning and studying about His Atonement weekly and it's changed my life. Truly all that is unfair is made right through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. His infinite Atonement has changed me. My testimony of Jesus Christ has been strengthened by the Book of Mormon more than any other Book. I add my witness to Joseph Smith when he said the Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by it's precepts than by any other book. That is true. I know it is and my testimony of that will never change. Reading the example of Alma the younger in Alma 36 and seeing the joy that is brought to him through repentance and change reminds me of the powerful Atonement that was made so we can change and be freed from sin and sorrow. I have learned so much on my mission. Being called to Michigan was so easily the most God-given privilege of my life. Because of the people. The souls I was destined to meet! My fellow brother and sisters, and children of God. The Lord has changed me completely. I will always and forever have an "Sister Clanton" tag on my heart, because Sister Clanton is the best version of Lindsay that could be! I still have a lifetime to keep on growing, learning, and becoming better, but I will never forget this chance of a lifetime to truly walk and work WITH Jesus Christ in this marvelous work. When I returned back to Michigan in July, my Mission President told me "Sister Clanton, I know you came back to Michigan to teach someone specific. The Lord has prepared them for you.
