My heart is full today! 1 year ago I returned home from my LDS mission in Michigan. What began as a step of faith became one of the most meaningful 18 months of my life. Through difficulties with my health, I was able to gain a greater understanding of Jesus Christs’ infinite Atonement. I know that when all things fail, He doesn’t. He is our Great Physician! He loves us. ALL of us. Every person on the earth is fully loved, and fully redeemed. Praying for charity and learning how to see people the way the Savior does is such a beautiful way to live. I’m grateful for repentance because change is possible ! I’ve seen peoples’ lives turn around completely with the Gospel in it. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about an experience from my mission — a lesson learned, a prayer answered, or a moment where I saw the Savior working in someone’s life, including my own.

Reading the example of Alma the younger in Alma 36 and seeing the joy that is brought to him through repentance and change reminds me of the powerful Atonement that was made so we can change and be freed from sin and sorrow. I feel joy everyday. I truly love serving the Lord and helping all my...
